Do you think microbes can also be used as source of energy? If yes, how?

Yes, microbes may be used as a supply of energy. Bacteria inclusive of Methane bacterium is used for the technology of gobargas or biogas. The era of biogas is an anaerobic system in a biogas plant, which includes a concrete tank (10-15 feet deep) with enough shops and inlets. The dung is blended with water to shape the slurry and thrown into the tank. The digester of the tank is full of severa anaerobic methane-generating bacteria, which produce biogas from the slurry. Biogas may be eliminated via the pipe that is then used as a supply of energy, whilst the spent slurry is eliminated from the opening and is used as a fertilizer.
