Option C) The ABO blood group system consists of 4 types of blood group – A, B, AB, and O and is mainly based on the presence or absence of antigens on RBC and antibodies in the plasma. A person with blood group AB  has Antigen A and Antigen B on RBC and no antibodies in plasma. As they are no antibodies in their plasma individuals with blood Group AB are considered universal recipients. Hence A blood group has both A and B antigens but no antibodies. It is AB group.
