Hypermetropia is also referred to as hyperopia or long-sightedness or far-sightedness. Hypermetropia is the condition of the eyes where the image of a nearby object is formed behind the retina.

hypermetropia is a defect in which you can not see nearby object cleary but can see faraway object cleary.That's why it is also known as far sightedness or long sightedness. This defect can be corrected by using convex lens of suitable lens power
