Correct options are C) and D) When an ac voltage of 220 V is applied to a capacitor C , the charge on the plates is in phase with the  applied voltage . As the circuit is pure capacitive so , the current developed  leads the applied voltage by a phase angle of 90∘ Hence , power delivered to the capacitor per cycle is  P=Vrms​Irms​cos90∘=0
