Describe the structure of a microsporangium
The structure of the microsporangium is as follows: -It is almost circular and it also has four wall layers. -The outer three layers are epidermis, endothecium and middle layers are protective in nature and help in the dehiscence of anther so that it can release pollen grains. -The inner tapetum provides food and nourishes the developing embryo. Sporogenous tissue remains at the central position.
