Differentiate between microsporogenesis and megasporogenesis. What type of cell division occurs during these events. Name the structure formed at the end of these two events.
Microsporogenesis is the process of production of microspore from a Pollen mother cell. Megasporogenesis is the process of production of megaspores from MMC. Meiotic division in both Microsporogenesis causes the formation of pollen grains while megasporogenesis causes the formation of megaspores.
