Restriction Enzymes are the endonuclease enzymes that are responsible for the digestion of DNA strands resulting in the formation of fragments, thus they are called molecular scissors. They are found in bacteria cells as they help in cutting the foreign DNA and results in the modification of the restriction system and thus results in the improving of the immunity in the bacterial cell.  Name of Restriction enzyme- EcoRI Substrate DNA on which it acts
