What are transgenic Bacteria? Illustrate using any one example?

Transgenic bacteria are bacteria that have had genes of interest (i.e. foreign DNA fragments) introduced into their plasmid. For example, when two DNA sequences A and B chains of insulin are introduced into the plasmid of this bacteria, it is called transgenic bacteria and begins to produce insulin chains.
