Most living organisms cannot survive at temperatures above 450c. How are some microbes able to live in habitats with temperatures exceeding 1000c.

Some microbes are able to live in habitats with temperatures exceeding 1000 c because they possess a minimum amount of free water in their body. Removal of water provides resistance to high temperatures.
