In a p-type semiconductor, the current is said to move through holes. Explain.

When electrons travel through a substance, they create an electric current. The electron must be able to enter into a 'hole' in the substance in order to do so. More electrons than holes are found in p-type semiconductors. There is just one direction in which a current can travel along with the material.
