We are given that the crystal is a Body-centered cubic unit cell. So, the relation between the radius of atom (r) and edge length of the unit cell (a) is given as: r = 3–√4ar = 34a   Given the value of edge length of the unit, cell is 316.5 pm. Putting the value in the formula, we get: r = 3–√4 × 316.5 = 137.04 pmr = 34 × 316.5 = 137.04 pm   So, the radius of the tungsten atom is 137.04 pm.
