Explain why Sulphanilic acid is insoluble in water.

Because it cannot establish hydrogen bonds with water molecules, sulphanilic acid is insoluble in both water and acid. However, it is soluble in aqueous mineral acids such as HFHF , HClHCl , and HNO3HNO3  because mineral acids may form hydrogen bonds with them
