What are analogous organs? Give examples.
Analogous organs: The organs which are similar in appearance and perform the same function but differ in their fundamental structure and origin are called analogous organs. Examples: Wings of birds and insects. Leaves of a plant and cladodes of Ruscus are also analogous organs.
