Write about the structure of microsporangium?
A microsporangium is more often circular in outline and is surrounded by a four-layered wall: The outermost layer is the single layer of the epidermis. The second layer is endothecium, where cells develop thickenings. The middle layer is of 2-4 cells. Tapetum, the innermost layer, is of large diploid/polyploid and binucleate or multinucleate cells. There are four pollen sacs. Each pollen sac has sporogenous tissue.
