Object function is the Linear function Z=ax+by, Where a and b are constants, which has to be maximized or minimized. If there exist two points at which the objective function has maximum value then the line joining these two points is the solution for maximum Z. Therefore, there is a possibility two have infinite points at which the objective function Z=ax+by attains maximum value. Final answer The maximum value of objective function Z=ax+by always occurs at only one corner points (False).
