Describe some features of catalysis by zeolites.
1. These are aluminosilicates in which water molecule are attached. 2. When water molecule removed, they become porous. 3. They only allow small size particles. 4. They are also known as shape selective catalyst. 5. Example for this is ZSM-5, here Z-zeolite, S-sieve, M-molecular and 5 is porosity (pore size).
