What was the nature of the government formed in Germany at Weimar?
The German government formed under the Weimar constitution was a republican government with an elected President and parliament. The President appointed a Chancellor who could command majority in the parliament, called the Reichstag. The Chancellor and the cabinet ran the day to day government.
