Through Gulliver’s Travels Swift comments on England’s growing power. Justify.
Gulliver’s Travels was written when England, despite its small size, was rising in power on the basis of its formidable fleet. The write ‘small-statured’ Lilliputians are a physical incarnation of precisely these kinds of cultural differences.
