Suggest two measures that the local authorities of your neighbourhood should take to bring down the incidence of diseases like malaria, typhoid and dengue?
(1) Malaria and dengue through mosquito which acts as a vector. The stagnant water pools support the life of mosquito and help them to breed. In order to eradicate malaria and dengue, the stagnant water pools should be removed. (2) Typhold is spread through the contaminated food and water. The preventive measures therefore should be taken to avoid the contamination of food stuffs. Houseflies should be eradicated by cleaning up the garbage dumps. Sources of water should also be kept clean by not allowing defaęcation near water source bathing in water.
