Why copper sulphate solution in water does not show tyndall effect but mixture of water and milk shows.

In a true solution, the solute particles are so small that they cannot scatter light falling on them. Hence, the copper sulphate solution in water does not show the Tyndall effect. Mixture of water and milk is a colloid and in a colloidal solution, the particles are big enough to scatter light.
