Drawings in the past were mainly done to freeze a moment, to capture and tell a story. But Expressive drawing is different from traditional. It is spontaneous, where one tries to express their emotions through drawing or painting. This technique is where one gets to be innovative, it a medium to express what is going on within you, and it can be anything you are feeling. Expressive drawing is more personal. It can be anything you want it to be. It is again upon the viewers to analyze and decide what it could be. For instance, if a person with a keen idea of gender biases would always describe the idea more empathetically. Some other instances are that of a local artist describing his locales, regional brand promotions, biographical paintings, etc. All his strokes would show a subject that is meant to be analytical and interesting.
