Have you ever disagreed with a client’s feedback? How did you respond?
In my previous role, once I received negative feedback that I didn’t agree with. I thought that the pamphlet I had designed mirrored the brand of the company, a fine art gallery; it used calligraphy-style typography and the brand’s color scheme. The owner decided that the style wasn’t appropriate for their brand. Although I didn’t see eye to eye, I acknowledged the feedback and made some adjustments to incorporate it into the final design. Graphic design is subjective, after all.
