There are three laws of thermodynamics. The first law is also called the law of conservation of energy which says that energy cannot be created or destroyed in an isolated system. The second law of thermodynamics says that the entropy of an isolated system never decreases. The third law of thermodynamics says that the entropy of a system approaches zero as the temperature approaches zero.
