15. What is Orthographic Drawing?
Orthographic drawing is a presentation of three-dimensional objects as two-dimensional objects. It is a form of parallel projection in which the lines are orthogonal to the projection plane. It shows the objects from all sides as it is seen in a three-dimensional object. This is useful to see the hidden details and connecting parts that are difficult to notice in a three-dimensional object, making the manufacturing process more manageable and effortless.
