Two step verification' is a method in which the users use two independent authentication factors to validate their identity. This is helpful in protecting the user’s credentials and the resources accessible to the user. A user gives only one authentication (a password or a passcode) in Single factor authentication (SFA) which provides lower level of security when compared to the Two Factor Verification (TFA).
