An object is thrown at an angle to the ground, moves along a curve and falls back to the ground. The start and end points of the object path are on the same horizontal line. How much work is done by the gravity on that object?

There must be a displacement to calculate the work, but since the vertical displacement in this case is zero (because the start and end points are on the same horizontal line), the work done by gravity is zero.
