Why do we classify organisms?
Organisms exist in large numbers on the earth. So it is not possible to study each variety of life forms. Hence, we make different groups or different categories of organisms according to their similarities and dissimilarities with other living organisms. It helps for the easier and systematic study of a variety of life forms.
