Define ionization energy and electron affinity?
Ionization energy of a component is that the amount of energy that has got to be supplied to at least one mole of the element within the gaseous state to get one mole of caters within the gaseous state. Electron affinity point is that the energy change that accompanies the formation of 1 mole of anions within the gaseous state from one mole of the atoms of the element within the gaseous state.
