What is plant transpiration? What are the two main types of plant transpiration process? Which of them is more significant in volume?
Transpiration is the loss of water from the plant to the atmosphere in the form of vapor. Transpiration occurs through the cuticle of the epidermis (cuticular transpiration) or through the ostioles of the stomata (stomatal transpiration). The most important is stomatal transpiration since it is more intense and physiologically regulated.
