The U.N. is an imperfect body but without it, the world would be worse off.” Explain the statement
There are reasons for the fact that ‘the U.N. is an imperfect body but without it, the world would be worse off’. The U.N. provides an arena in which it is possible to modify the attitude and policies of other countries. U.N. does provide a space within which arguments against specific U.S. attitudes and policies are heard. Without the U.N. the world would be worse off as there will be more threats of war and conflicts. It avoids international wars or chances of the third war of giving balancing through discussions and compromises. Terrorism too will get encouragement.
