Arms control regulates the acquisition or development of weapons. The Anti-Ballistic Missile they differ from each other. Disarmament means a plan or a system for the limitation, reduction or abolition of armed forces including their arms and equipments. On the other hand, arms control means a co-operative or multilateral approach to armament policy.
