Similarly, there are certain areas or regions which are not owned by any individual or nation. These areas or regions are not a part of the territorial jurisdiction of any state. These areas are known as ‘Global Commons’. Global Commons can be used by any state and are governed by the international community. Global Commons include the earth’s atmosphere, Antarctica, the ocean floor, and outer space.
