*Light of Asia.. .Gautam Buddha is known as the 'Light of Asia' and the 'Enlightened One'. Gautam Buddha preached the importance of physical and mental conditions of human life. His teachings emphasized on pragmatism and love. Edwin Arnold wrote a poem "Light of Asia" which describes the character of Prince Siddhartha and later Buddha.
