Distinguish between homologous organs and analogous organs. In which category would you place wings of a bird and wings of a bat? Justify your answer giving a suitable reason

Homologous organ = Those organs which have same structures but perform different functions. The organisms which possess such organs are said to have originated from common ancestors. Example:- The seal's flipper, the bat's wing, the horse's foot, cat's paw and the human hand. Analogous organs = These organs are not anatomically similar though they perform similar functions. Example:- The using of birds and bats are not anatomically similar which have different origins but perform similar functions. Bats has flaps of skin stretched  between the bones of arm and finger arm while birds has feathers all along the arm.
