How is ‘respiration’ different from ‘breathing’? Explain the process of aerobic and anaerobic respiration.
Respiration is the exchange of gases with the breakdown of glucose and the production of energy in the form of ATP. Breathing is the inhalation of oxygen from the atmosphere and the release of Carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
