Option A Industrial melanism is the evolutionary consequence, here the population of animals living in that particular industrial region where the environment is soot-darkened causing the variation in animals by darkening of body tissues by excessive production of melanin. The melanization caused for these kind of organism result of industrialization increases and they are expected that its member will survive and reproduce. This process takes place over time and causing generations as a result of natural selection of lighter more distinct animals by predators.
