- A balanced chemical reaction is an equation that has equal numbers of each atom of a molecule on both sides of the arrow. - Law of conservation of mass governs the balancing of a chemical equation. According to which, mass can neither be created nor be destroyed in a chemical reaction - Obeying this law total mass of the elements or molecules present on the reactant side should be equal to the total mass of elements or molecules present on the product side. If the chemical equation is not balanced, the law of conservation is not applicable. - Hence, a balanced equation conveys a basic knowledge about the respective formula of the reactant and product, their respective masses, and the total number of molecules present in the reaction. But it does not tell anything about the feasibility of the reaction. Therefore, the answer to the question is (D) Whether a particular reaction is actually feasible or not.
