Option D Nissl granule is the protein-forming machinery of the cell. It includes electron-dense particles. The staining approach is useful in restricting the cell body because it thoroughly can be located withinside the soma and dendrites of neurons, however, they are not present in the axon or axon hillock. Nissl granules are also called the tigroid body, a condensed part of the cytoplasm of a nerve cell. In our body, the massive granular mass is present in the nerve cell or neurons, so it is referred to as Nissl granules. It is produced by a rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER) having rosettes of free ribosomes (polyribosomes) which together help in the formation of protein synthesis.
