option B. Mars' atmosphere is far too thin to support life. Venus' atmosphere is extraordinarily thick, the temperature is extremely high, and sulphuric acid rains. The major component of the atmosphere found on Venus and Mars is carbon dioxide (95-97%) and as such it does not support life.
