Why Plant cells are are more rigid than animal cells?

Cell walls are the rigid outer covering layer of the plant cell. It is made up of cellulose and polysaccharides that makes it tough and gives rigidity to plant cells. This is the reason that plant cells remain more rigid than animal cells.
