Saliva is produced and secreted from salivary glands. The primary secretary gadgets of salivary glands are clusters of cells referred to as acini.[2] These cells secrete a fluid that includes water, electrolytes,[27–30] mucus,[7,31] and enzymes,[14,32,33] all of which go with the drift out of the acinus into accumulating ducts.
