For an astronaut in a space ship, how does the sky appear?

To an astronaut, the sky appears darkish and black as opposed to blue due to the fact there's no surroundings containing air in outer space to scatter sunlight. So, there's no scattered mild to attain our eyes in outer space, consequently the sky seems darkish and black there.
