Option A. Inulin is a heterogeneous collection of fructose polymer. It consists of 2->1 linked beta-d-fructose residues (n = 2–60), usually with a (1->2) alpha-d-glucose end group i.e. it consists of chain-terminating glucosyl moieties and a repetitive fructose moiety.
