Are there volcanoes under the sea?
Volcanoes form underneath the sea in the same way as on land. When two oceanic plates collide, one may get pushed below the other. The warmness generated by means of the crash motives one plate to melt and form magma. The hot magma rises and varieties an underwater volcano, just as it does on land. The Vailulu volcano in Ta’u Island in the Pacific Ocean is an underwater volcano.
