Is the cheetah a big cat?
The cheetah is no longer truely a large cat as it cannot roar, however purrs like our domestic cat. However, it has many different characteristics of a large cat, and is once in a while regarded as the smallest member of the massive cat family. It is the fastest of all land animals, and can run at a pace of up to one hundred ten kilometres per hour (70 miles per hour) over a quick distance.
