Why do crocodilians have eyes on top of their heads?
All crocodilians spend a brilliant deal of time in water. They typically lie submerged in order that their prey can't spot them. But they are able to preserve a lookout for prey as they cruise via rivers and streams, since their eyes are positioned on pinnacle in their heads. Incidentally, crocodiles do shed crocodile tears, because the pronouncing goes. They do that to smooth their eyes, and now no longer due to the fact they feel unhappy for his or her victims.
