Most toads and a few salamanders secrete a poison thru their pores and skin to defend themselves in opposition to predators. Most frogs are now no longer toxic, even though rainforest frogs like the poison-arrow frog are so toxic that a few human beings tip arrows with its poison to use for hunting.
