What is an insect?
Insects are arthropods – animals which have a defensive cowl or an exoskeleton (a skeleton outdoor the frame). The exoskeleton helps the frame and keeps the tender internal organs safe. Since the skeleton can’t develop with the insect, the insect has to shed or moult the skeleton regularly, and a new one grows back. Insects are the only invertebrates (animals with out backbone) that could fly. Some bugs consisting of cockroaches and a few forms of ants develop wings when they're adults. All bugs have six legs. Scorpions, spiders and centipedes are now no longer bugs, considering that they do now no longer have six legs. True bugs additionally have outside mouths and eleven belly segments.
