Did people live in other parts of North America?
The Delaware, Mohegans, Mohawks and Abenaki lived in the north-east of America. They were suitable hunters and used spears, bows and arrows and clubs. They fished with spears, hooks and nets and lit flares to draw fish to the surface. They knew how to make sorts of homes – the longhouse blanketed with bark, and the wigwam protected with reeds and animal skins.
