What is earth art?
In the 1960s and 1970s, artists like Robert Smithson used bulldozers instead of brushes to create art from natural things outdoors. These works were called earth art. The earth art movement was influenced by concerns about the deterioration of the environment through pollution and deforestation. The ideas of the earth art movement have been used in movies.
